am not so much of a football fan but since my first love loved it i was on his team, arsenal.whenever there was a game and arsenal was not playing i would simply be the fan of the most likely team to win and change my mind depending on how the game fairs.it was like am playing a gamble game.the good thing for the players they would never know that at some point during the game one of their fans ditched them for the other team.and they would still play the game with a mind set to win and not lose.
many a times we set out to try and accomplish our dreams and when things are good we have so many supporters.i mean when we actually start achieving and reaching heights that noone would think you would,we get so much positive attention.thats the point where the people who even knew you existed start looking for you and calling you all kinds of pet names just for them to assure you that they are on your side and you are a team.
nobody bothers about the struggles, the toiling the hardwork that got you there.nobody even cares about your past failures all they care about at that point is that you made it and its only you and those who are really close to you that really know the pain, the dissapointments you went through before getting there.but the funny part is that at the beginning of it you had people cheering you to venture and go fulfill your dream and then they dissappeared tll when the dreams were starting to become a reality.
looking at the story of noah n the bible when God told him to build an ark,he heard the voice of God so openly and so clearly and he immediately knew what to do.when he was done building the ark God again gave him so much clear instructions about what should go in and what number should go in and immediately after that when the ark was shut, came the storm.
during the storm we are not told of God speaking at all and if i was in Noah's shoes i would be all confused and scared and blaming God for not being a good planner.lol that is me and with my small thinking i would not see ahead when the storm would end, maybe i would start thinking of a way to save my family and i.but Noah did none of these things irene would have done..he patiently waited,he was still i think he had a greater thinking and he knew how great and marvelous the Lord is.until to the last day when the flood ended and God spoke again.
many a times when we set out to achieve our dreams and the storm comes,we start with many questions to God not knowing that He who began the good work in us is faithful enough to accomplish and see the end beautifully met.we curse,we cry we go ahead and look for shortcuts to see the accomplishment of our dream and in this way we end up hurting more and questioning God the more.
we should be still in the storm dance in the rain and wait for your sunshine.do not give up,follow the right steps to accomplish yes its okay to get weary but don't you dare give up.:-)
