HIS PERFECT PLAN

 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Jeremiah 29:11

Its been a long time since I wrote something new but God has still been gracious and kept my loved ones and I .Many things have happened the last two months, and many of us have experienced,tears,pain,turmoil,laughter and joy.
I have been reflecting on my life,especially my past and been astonished by the number of the experiences that I have had,would have defined the last page of my life story.I could not have seen through those experiences that God miraculously came through for me because either my eyes were filled with so many tears that they were blurred or the pain I felt was just too much to feel anything else around me,or the thoughts of how impossible it was to get rescue were so overwhelming that I did not see that my rescue was right there by my side.
During these experiences it was so easy to let fear creep in and forget on The Great I Am.forget what He says about Him engraving my life in the palm of His hands,forget His plans for me of Him having great plans for me,those of prosperity and not for evil.it was so easy that I did forget.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
    that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
    yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
    your walls are continually before me.Isaiah 49:15-16

God  having a plan for us entails Him being there with us throughout the whole process until His plan is established.when God told Moses that He will be with him,Moses did not see the greater picture that God was seeing,He looked at His present situation and by what other people had judged Him by.what Moses did not know is that even before He was born,God knew what Moses will be able to do.His birth came at a time when Hebrew  boys were being thrown into the Nile river.God was crafty enough to make sure that by the time Moses as a baby reached the banks of the river Nile while in the basket,the king's daughter would be there to notice the basket and like the baby Moses so much that she decides to keep him.that was God's plan because Moses had to grow up in the palace and learn leadership skills that would help him as a leader with the Israelite.Moses running away from Egypt was not by chance,he had to learn to live in a foreign country and face challenges,to harden him,because with the Israelite they had to be foreigners in different nations and Moses had to be strong for them.
nothing in our lives is by accident,it is God's perfect plan for us in the process to completion.never lose hope by what you see around you,hold on and call on God's name to help you in the time of need.His grace is sufficient,and He who began a good work in you will sure finish it.

When the race gets you down, press on.
When your hopes are handcuffed and your dreams are deferred, press on.
When the headwinds of life slow you down, press on.
When life is filled with delay, disruptions, and disappointment, press on.
Press past the mess and stroll through the stress.
Press on! 
press on because God is working in you and with you.Press on because if God is for you who can be against you?so just Press on!
I pray that the Lord will give us peace that we may not question Him when things are tough.I pray for a resilient spirit that just will not give up no matter what..I pray that we may see the bigger picture and not what will come and pass,In Jesus name, amen.

FATHER'S LOVE LETTER TO YOU AND I

I really had a heavy heart this past month and i have been dealing with stuff of my own...this morning i remembered an article my brother sent to me and I was like wow that is indeed God's love for me. Unselfish I decided to share knowing it will speak to anyone reading this.be blessed.

For you were made in my image ...genesis 1:27

For you are my offspring ...acts 17:28
I knew you even before you were conceived... Jeremiah 1:4-5
I chose you when i planned creation … Ephesians 1:11-12

You were not a mistake for all your days are written in my book...psalms 139:15-16
I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live...acts: 17: 26
You are fearfully and wonderfully made… psalms 139:14
I knit you together in your mother's womb… psalms 139:13
And brought you forth on the day you were born… psalms 71:6
I have been represented by those who do not know me …john 8:41-44
I am not distant and angry but am the complete expression of love …1John 4:16
And it is my desire to lavish my love on you …1john 3:1
Simply because you are my child and am your father… 1 john 3:1
I offer you more than your earthly father ever could …Mathew 7:11

Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand… James 1:17

One day i will wipe all your tears from your eyes… revelation 21:3-4
And i will take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth …revelation 21:3-4
I am your father and i love you even as i have loved my son Jesus …John 17:23
For in Jesus my love for you is revealed …John 17:26
He is the exact representation of my being …Hebrews 1:3
He came to demonstrate that i am for you and not against you …romans 8:31
And to tell you that is not counting your sins …2corinthians5: 18-19
Jesus died so that you and i could be reconciled …2 Corinthians 5:18-19

His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you …1 John 4:10
I gave up everything i love so that i may gain your love …romans 8:31-32
If you receive the gift of my son Jesus you receive me …1john 2:23
And nothing will ever separate you from my love again …romans 8:38-39
Come home and i will throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen …Luke 15:7
I have always been father and will always be father… Ephesians 3:14-15
My question is will you be my child?...  John 1:12-13

He Is Daddy

I know we have angels around us at all times, and perhaps the number varies with the faith we have. I always say I have seven, but at times the seven are never enough for me…at times I just want my Father to be the one next to me whom I can talk to and just get to make history with Him as He walks with me proudly showing me off to the angels and other people as His precious little girl.

I have seen babies when they are growing up about how at times all they do is just stare at the adult faces and get to identify with them.it still defeats logic for me how babies get to know who their mother is and dad within such a short time of getting into this world. I particularly like when all they do is try to study someone and just feel their faces and mouth gazing into their eyes. When these babies get to one year and they can walk and run and are able to point at things, when they see things they want all they do is point and cry frantically pointing to what they are attracted to and what do their parents do? They get it for them. More awesome it is when they see their parents and run towards them with arms wide stretched for them to be picked up.

The same applies to God, our Father and us, His children. Only that most of the time all we want is to point at things we want and give Him a list of the many things we wish to have. And being the loving Father He is, he provides these things for us but is saddened by the fact that we use Him as this Super Power and we do not want to spend time in getting to study His face, getting to feel His face and know what He is truly saying to us.

At times all God wants to do is to carry us in His arms and just to tell us how much He really cares for us and how much He understands what we are going through…but for us when we faced with turmoil and going through challenges all we want is to tell God to deliver us and yes He does but if only we would let Him pick us up carry us and comfort us a parent would do to his or her child.

 

Gaze at His face understand that His love is greater than everything is .Do not be the spoiled child who only wants to point at what he only wants…try be selfless. Pause and gaze at Daddy’s face, let Him pick you up and just have a conversation with you. Let him know how your day has been, let Him know the joys you have heard, let Him know what sins you are struggling with. Cry out to Him and tell Him the things that are taking away your joy, tell Him your fears and tell Him you are glad that you have Him.

At times it’s ok to tell Him that the angels can take a break and He may take that position even if it is for ten minutes. Worship Him and glorify Him, let Him be the Center.

HIS SHOE SIZE FIT ...

Some years back, I heard a story of a man who had great faith. I do not really remember the story clearly but I know I can tell the main bits of the story to make a point. I have no idea if the story is true but am glad I got to hear it and share it with you guys.
There was this man who had a disease that ate his feet and for a long time he could not wear shoes, or even had no hope of ever knowing the comfort of wearing shoes. In pain and suffering, he bared it all, knowing that there is nothing much to hope for, but to just pray that perhaps the pain would go away. One day, there was a crusade in his hometown. He decided to attend the crusade meeting not knowing, that this would be a life changing experience for him. Throughout the crusade all he heard the men of God preach was about faith that can move mountains, faith of a mustard seed that when sown on the ground it is the smallest of all seeds upon the earth but when it grows it brings forth much more than any other tree. This guy received that word right there and when he came out of that crusade he went to a shoe shop and asked for shoes his previous size that he used to wear before his feet were eaten up by the disease. Now the attendants thought he was crazy and whispered among each other wondering what they should say to this man who has no feet but is ordering shoes to wear for his feet.to make matters worse this guy ordered for socks to match too and when the attendant brought him the sock he wore the socks and when the shoes came he wore it as if there were feet in them and guess what happened? Yes the unthinkable, unexpected and unimaginable, this guy got feet.
When i heard of this story, i remembered the story of Naaman in 2Kings5 when Elisha asked him to go and deep his body in the Jordan River seven times, his miracle had already been ordered but what Naaman needed was to have the faith and do something about it.
This other guy yes he got the faith but he needed to get up and do something about it. He had to get out of his comfort zone of self-pity and shame and do something about. There are so many stories in the bible of amazing people who believed in God and went out of their way to do something about their situation to receive. The story of the lady who bled for twelve years is also one. This lady who was considered unclean could have remained in her house and fill her mind and body with things that the devil wanted her to believe. That she is unclean, unworthy and not even qualified to go meet Jesus but just the little step of her getting out in the public  and knowing the greater good of what God can do healed her.
Faith with works pleases God and yes though He knows before you ask...you going out of your way to work in your faith to please God and shows that you are ready to receive what you ask for.
