When the oceans rise and thunders roar, I will soar with you
above the storm, Father you are King over the storm, I will be still know you
are God!
Happy New Year loved ones! It has been long since I last
wrote anything, not because there was nothing to share but because I had a lot
to deal with, you see writing is very therapeutic for me but when I am so
overwhelmed by the happenings of this life, I choose not to write but rest in
the peace of Daddy.
Recently a friend and I were discussing the lyrics to the
song ‘God on the Mountain’ by Lynda Randle, and what hit me most is that as
individuals it is so easy to talk of faith when we are at the peak of our lives,
you know we will easily give examples to friends of an experience that required
us to have faith and we did, it is so easy and we sound so convincing. Trouble
comes in when we are in the valley and even the sound of the word “faith” poses
a great challenge to us.
It has always been so hard to see beyond circumstances we
face. When things are really bad, we forget the beauty of it all is that God
has our back in all. His services are offered 24/7 just for us readily and
gracefully He is our support system and it is His joy to serve us with this
great love that is beyond human understanding.
Well as for me am learning to be still when storms rage, am
learning to actually flow in that peace like a river that has been given to us,
am ready to unplug all worry, stress, disappointments and all negative energy
that hooves around me.in all I want to fly above everything and let Jesus take
the wheel because on my own I cannot I need His redeeming love and grace to
flow in me, through me and above me.
Lord this day I ask of you to teach and guide all of us to be
able to walk in peace. To be able to use faith that will please you, faith that
works and not just hears. I pray that we may learn to be still and know that
you are God in all circumstances and forever more.in Jesus name, amen.
